Free Texas Holdem Rules to Live By
Unless you personally and fully know the casino dealer in charge of your poker game, you can’t really be sure that you could completely trust the other person to treat you fairly. And one of the common things that many dealers can get away cheating with would be the rules of the game.
If you wish to make sure that you’re not going to get cheated the next time you enter a casino, organize a free Texas Holdem game in your house. The objective of your free Texas Holdem game will be able to identify the numerous ways your free Texas Holdem dealer can succeed in cheating you out of winning.
Rule #1 – If the free Texas Holdem dealer happens to expose the first hole card dealt, that automatically requires the free Texas Holdem dealer to collect the card and reshuffle and re-cut the deck. This situation is referred to as a misdeal.
Rule #2 – Now, if the free Texas Holdem dealer happens to expose any other hole card except for the first one dealt, the rules of the game allow the free Texas Holdem dealer to continue with the deal. The exposed hole card, however may not be kept.
When the hand is completed, the free Texas Holdem dealer replaces the exposed card with the top card on the deck. The exposed hole card will then be used for the burn card.
If the free Texas Holdem dealer, on the other hand, accidentally exposes more than one hole card, this is another misdeal and shall of course require the free Texas Holdem dealer to retrieve the dealt cards and reshuffle and re-cut the deck.
Rule #3 – Let’s say the free Texas Holdem dealer flops the cards before the round of betting is completed. When this happens, the free Texas Holdem dealer must mix the board cards with the rest of the deck. Burn cards however should remain on the free Texas Holdem table. Afterwards, the free Texas Holdem dealer must reshuffle and re-cut the deck and deal a new flop without card burning.
Rule #4 – If the free Texas Holdem dealer makes the mistake of showing the Turn (the 4th board card) before the betting round is concluded, that card will be retrieved for that round even if the succeeding players choose to fold. The free Texas Holdem dealer will then burn and turn the card that should’ve been the River in this round. After the betting round, the free Texas Holdem dealer shall once more reshuffle and re-cut the deck – burn cards and discards not included – before showing the River.
